Meet Our Staff
Alaina, Office Manager
Alaina is our one-of-a-kind Office Manager. She was born and raised right here in Plano, TX and she plans to stay in DFW for years to come. She received her Office Systems Technology degree from Collin College and has more than five years of administration and management experience. Most recently before joining A Bright Future Pediatrics, she spent over two years working in ABA facilities (Applied Behavior Analysis). She grew a strong passion for Autism and the special needs community and adores working around children.
In her spare time, Alaina loves being active with her daughter, going to concerts, making art, and playing video games (Zelda is her favorite!). She is a proud tree hugger, reptile lover, and Mexican food connoisseur!
Our nursing staff is caring, knowledgeable, and (most of all) fun. They are committed to treating our patients and family members with compassion, dignity, and respect. All staff members will maintain absolute confidentiality regarding any information they may receive in the course of your service with us.
Annah, Medical Assistant
Annah received her medical assistant diploma from Westwood College and has over five years of experience. She has been with A Bright Future Pediatrics since 2016 and the children love her smile! Annah enjoys doing anything outdoors with her two pre-teen children and other family members, especially hiking and roller blading.
Megean, Medical Assistant
Megean has been one of our dedicated medical assistants since 2013. A graduate of the medical assisting program at Remington College, she is a nationally registered certified medical assistant with 5 years of experience in the pediatric medical field. Her outgoing personality and sense of humor are a unique addition to this already charismatic, tender hearted and fun-loving team. Megean strives to take care of her patients and make their visits with us memorable and as fun as possible.
Megean spends all of her free time with her family at the baseball fields, where her son and daughter play, and she serves as volunteer member on the board of directors.
We are very proud of our front office staff. This cheerful, understanding, and upbeat group collectively brings many years of healthcare and customer service experience to our office. We pride ourselves in recognizing that each child and adolescent is an individual, and we customize our plan of care to meet those individual needs.
Ashley, Front Desk
Ashley has been with A Bright Future Pediatrics since 2016 and she is our insurance verification super hero! With over ten years of Medical Front Office experience, Ashley’s knowledge and professionalism are unmatched. When she is not in our front office, she loves to relax by reading, watching Psych or Chuck on TV, listening to music, and enjoying a cup of coffee. She has two crazy cats that think they rule her home and she is the leader of her church’s youth group.
Christy, Patient Care Coordinator
Christy is often the very first person that new patients speak to. She is bubbly, professional, and a joy to have in the front office! She has over 12 years of experience as a Medical Assistant and Medical Front Office; this experience brings so much enthusiasm and knowledge to us! She enjoys camping, hiking, and cooking with her husband and two teenage children. She also loves music, Broadway plays, and anything Disney or Harry Potter!
Duane, Front Desk
Duane is one of our front office rockstars! When you come to our office for a sick visit, you will typically check out with him as you leave. You’ll also hear from him with reminder calls for appointments. He has many years of customer service experience, and he loves when he can bring a smile to a patient’s face when they are ill. Duane enjoys spending time with his wife and two step children, cheering at their softball games, and trying out new restaurants.
Our business office staff is highly trained and current on the latest changes in insurance information and medical billing/coding guidelines. Our goal is to create an atmosphere that is comfortable for patients to discuss these issues with confidentiality and respect. These staff members are available during normal business hours to answer any billing questions our patients might have.
Belle, Emotional Support and Therapy Dog
She is 7 years old and has years of experience with loving people and being doted on. She is a very calm, gentle soul and has proven to help ease anxiety in our special needs patients and our neurotypical kids with vaccination anxiety.
She is recently certified as an emotional support/therapy dog, and has already been a proven asset to our office. Find out more about Belle.
