Meet Our Staff
Alaina, Office Manager
Alaina is our one-of-a-kind Office Manager. She was born and raised right here in Plano, TX and she plans to stay in DFW for years to come. She received her Office Systems Technology degree from Collin College and has more than five years of administration and management experience. Most recently before joining A Bright Future Pediatrics, she spent over two years working in ABA facilities (Applied Behavior Analysis). She grew a strong passion for Autism and the special needs community and adores working around children.
In her spare time, Alaina loves being active with her daughter, going to concerts, making art, and playing video games (Zelda is her favorite!). She is a proud tree hugger, reptile lover, and Mexican food connoisseur!
Christy, Patient Care Coordinator
Christy is often the very first person that new patients speak to. She handles new patient enrollment, medical records, referrals, and so much more. For our behavioral health patients (such as ADHD), she is there from the first call to our office to guide parents through the process and expectations for everyone involved in the patient’s plan of care. She is bubbly, professional, and a joy to have here! She has over 12 years of experience as a Medical Assistant and Medical Front Office; this experience brings so much enthusiasm and knowledge to us! She enjoys camping, hiking, and cooking with her husband and two teenage children. She also loves music, Broadway plays, and anything Disney or Harry Potter!
Our nursing staff is caring, knowledgeable, and (most of all) fun. They are committed to treating our patients and family members with compassion, dignity, and respect. All staff members will maintain absolute confidentiality regarding any information they may receive in the course of your service with us.
Megean, Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)
Megean has been one of our dedicated medical assistants since 2013. A graduate of the medical assisting program at Remington College, she is a Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant with more than eight years of experience in the pediatric medical field. Her outgoing personality and sense of humor are a unique addition to this already charismatic, tender hearted and fun-loving team. Megean strives to take care of her patients and make their visits with us memorable and as fun as possible. Megean spends all of her free time with her family at the baseball fields, where her son and daughter play, and she serves as volunteer member on the board of directors.
Kourtnee, Medical Assistant
Kourtnee joined our team in 2018 and is a calming token to our busy back office. With over three years of phlebotomy experience, she brings with her many useful skills that contribute to our high standard of patient care. Her quiet and charming demeanor keeps our patients peaceful even when they have to get shots! Outside of the office, Kourtnee loves spending time with her four year old daughter by shopping, cooking, and reading. She also enjoys a good work out!
Tina, Medical Assistant
Tina is a dedicated medical assistant with a passion for patient advocacy and has been with ABFP since 2018. She values working through treatment concerns while building personal relationships with her patients. Tina enjoys being part of a fun, professional team that provides exceptional patient care. Another passion of hers is her family. Tina has two sons and a cat named Saige, and they enjoy traveling and playing around the house together. In her spare time, Tina likes to write horror stories and cook delicious meals!
We are very proud of our front office staff. This cheerful, understanding, and upbeat group collectively brings many years of healthcare and customer service experience to our office. We pride ourselves in recognizing that each child and adolescent is an individual, and we customize our plan of care to meet those individual needs.
Ashley, Front Desk
Ashley has been with A Bright Future Pediatrics since 2016 and she is our insurance verification super hero! With over ten years of Medical Front Office experience, Ashley’s knowledge and professionalism are unmatched. When she is not in our front office, she loves to relax by reading, watching Psych or Chuck on TV, listening to music, and enjoying a cup of coffee. She has two crazy cats that think they rule her home and she is the leader of her church’s youth group.
Savanah, Front Desk
Savanah has been a breath of fresh air for our front office starting just before the flu season of 2018. She comes with years of management experience including front office urgent care, which has proven to be very beneficial! She is witty, professional, and strong. Savanah has one puppy named Olive and she loves cuddle time with her beloved pet. She also enjoys reading, cooking, playing board games, and working out. This left-handed champ loves alternative rock and all things Marvel, Disney, and Pixar.
Our business office staff is highly trained and current on the latest changes in insurance information and medical billing/coding guidelines. Our goal is to create an atmosphere that is comfortable for patients to discuss these issues with confidentiality and respect. These staff members are available during normal business hours to answer any billing questions our patients might have.
Belle, Emotional Support and Therapy Dog
She is 7 years old and has years of experience with loving people and being doted on. She is a very calm, gentle soul and has proven to help ease anxiety in our special needs patients and our neurotypical kids with vaccination anxiety.
