Meet Our Staff

Alaina, Office Manager

Alaina is our one-of-a-kind Office Manager. She was born and raised right here in Plano, TX and she plans to stay in DFW for years to come. She received her Office Systems Technology degree from Collin College and has more than five years of administration and management experience. Most recently before joining A Bright Future Pediatrics, she spent over two years working in ABA facilities (Applied Behavior Analysis). She grew a strong passion for Autism and the special needs community and adores working around children.

In her spare time, Alaina loves being active with her daughter, going to concerts, making art, and playing video games (Zelda is her favorite!). She is a proud tree hugger, reptile lover, and Mexican food connoisseur!

Christy, Patient Care Manager

Christy is often the very first person that new patients speak to. She handles new patient enrollment, medical records, referrals, and so much more. For our behavioral health patients (such as ADHD), she is there from the first call to our office to guide parents through the process and expectations for everyone involved in the patient’s plan of care. She is bubbly, professional, and a joy to have here! She has over 12 years of experience as a Medical Assistant and Medical Front Office; this experience brings so much enthusiasm and knowledge to us! She enjoys camping, hiking, and cooking with her husband and two teenage children. She also loves music, Broadway plays, and anything Disney or Harry Potter!

Nursing Department

Our nursing staff is caring, knowledgeable, and (most of all) fun. They are committed to treating our patients and family members with compassion, dignity, and respect. All staff members will maintain absolute confidentiality regarding any information they may receive in the course of your service with us.

Ashley, Medical Assistant

We are proud to introduce Ashley as one of our spectacular Medical Assistants! She comes to us with her Medical Assistant degree from Collin College and she is a skilled member of our clinical team . Ashley has two fur babies; silly cats named Carrot and Pepper! She enjoys reading, playing ‘The SIMS’, and being in the kitchen cooking and baking. She’s quite the chef! Ashley also loves Taylor Swift (we hear her singing throughout the office!). Other fun facts about Ashley are that her favorite color is purple, her favorite soda is Dr. Pepper, and she LOVES pineapples! Ashley brings a ray of sunshine to our back office!

Katie, Certified Medical Assistant

Our team brought in the 2019 year with a new Certified Medical Assistant, Katie! She is a positive, energetic, shining star that all of our kids love! Katie has over seven years’ experience in pediatrics, dermatology, and insurance benefits, making for a well-rounded skill set. She is a fun loving individual who spends her free time fishing, reading, baking, and traveling. She loves her dog Roper and enjoys 90’s music, game, and movie nostalgia. In the future, Katie is looking forward to continuing her education and plans to eventually travel to Norway.

Front Office

We are very proud of our front office staff. This cheerful, understanding, and upbeat group collectively brings many years of healthcare and customer service experience to our office. We pride ourselves in recognizing that each child and adolescent is an individual, and we customize our plan of care to meet those individual needs.

Abbey

Our front desk is proud to welcome Abbey to the team! Abbey has a Bachelor’s of Arts in English Language and Literature, and comes to us eager to learn more! She is a shining star with our patients and goes the extra mile every chance she has. Abbey has two cats; Tucker and Jasper – who happens to be a service animal. She enjoys reading fantasy novels, drinking tea, and crochet. She loves all things Harry Potter, Broadway Show tunes, and (of course) classic Disney! She also enjoys cooking and trying different foods from around the world. Yum!

Joselyn

We have a fun and enthusiastic member of our front desk who has been a joy to our patients. Joselyn is a Certified Medical Administrative Assistant and comes to us with a wealth of knowledge. She is also a licensed aesthetician! Obviously with that, she loves make up and styling, and helping others. She has two lovable pit bulls named Loki and Brodi at home and she is an Air Force wife. Joselyn also enjoys going to rock concerts; her dream show would be to see Bring Me The Horizon live. We love having Joselyn on our team!

Billing Department

Our business office staff is highly trained and current on the latest changes in insurance information and medical billing/coding guidelines. Our goal is to create an atmosphere that is comfortable for patients to discuss these issues with confidentiality and respect. These staff members are available during normal business hours to answer any billing questions our patients might have.
