Here’s how to get started on a desktop or laptop:

  1. Download / Open an Internet browser such as Google Chrome or Firefox
  2. Go to the web address: https://app.evisit.com/ng/#/enroll/a-bright-future
  3. Create an account with your preferred email address and password
  4. Fill out the patient’s personal information and answer any required medical questions
  5. Click the teal Start Visit button to request your first virtual visit

You’ll be put into the virtual waiting room while your provider is reviewing your information.  When your provider is ready to see you, a teal join button will appear at the bottom of your screen.

Click on the teal Join button to start your visit!

Here’s how to get started on a mobile device, like an iPhone, Microsoft Surface Pro, or any Android Device:

  1. On your mobile device, go to the web address from your device: https://app.evisit.com/ng/#/enroll/a-bright-future
  2. Create an account with your preferred email address and password
  3. Fill out the patient’s personal information and answer any required medical questions
  4. Click the teal Start Visit button to request your first virtual visit
  5. Click on the pop-up that appears to download the eVisit app in your app store
  6. When the app is fully downloaded, open it up and login with the credentials you used to create your account previously

Once you are logged in, you’ll be put into the virtual waiting room while your provider is reviewing your information.  When your provider is ready to see you, a teal join button will appear at the bottom of your screen. Click on the teal Join button to start your visit!

Frequently Asked Questions
How does eVisit work?

It’s easy! If you’re a new user, the first thing you’ll do is create an eVisit account. Then, you’ll answer a few questions about your condition and click the “request eVisit” button at your scheduled appointment time. Your doctor will receive your request, and let you know when they’ll be ready to see you. Once you accept the visit, you’ll be connected to your doctor via 2-way video from your computer or smartphone. Your doctor will interact with you, answer your questions, and, if needed, send a prescription to your preferred pharmacy.

Why do I need to include my child’s past history?

Evisits are not intergraded without EMR system. We will try to have both eVisits and our EMR open at the same time, however there will be times were this will not be the case and will need to past history from the family.

How can my doctor treat me without a physical exam?

A complete physical exam is not always necessary for some conditions. Through evisits observations and help with the physical exam by the family are able to adequately assess some medical conditions without physician hands on. 90% of the diagnoses is provided by history however the 10% we gain from the hands on physical exams more important for many diagnoses. Plus, being able to see you and view any picture uploads via eVisit gives your doctor the additional visual information needed to make a diagnosis.

Will my insurance pay for my eVisit?

No. Insurance companies in Texas do not reimburse for eVisits.

Can my doctor prescribe medication?

Yes. If your doctor decides a prescription medication is appropriate for the condition, she will send your prescription electronically to your pharmacy so it’s ready to pick-up when you arrive.

What conditions cannot be treated via eVisit?

We are unable to address chronic medical issues as these need a more detailed history and comprehensive physical exam

Is my medical information secure?

Yes. The eVisit app is 100% HIPAA compliant, so any personal health information you provide is completely safe and secure.

Do I need any special equipment to use the eVisit?

You do need a few basics: a computer or compatible mobile device (tablet or smartphone), a webcam, and a microphone. If your computer or mobile device already has an integrated camera and microphone, you shouldn’t need any extra equipment to get started. Please also make sure to have a decent internet or wifi connection to ensure an uninterrupted visit.

I’m not very tech-savvy. Is eVisit for me?

Yes! The eVisit app was designed to be very user-friendly. Imagine Skype, but with a few more bells and whistles to give you and your doctor everything you need to have a successful visit.

What is the cost of an eVisit?

eVisit price is $50 per visit and is incremented by time.
